Culminating Project Part III: Research QuestionsResearch Question: Latham (2014) suggested that the foundation of any good research is a good question. We are interested in developing management questions related to the research problem because answers to these questions offer actionable information. Considering your activities regarding the research engagement of this week (week 3 discussing the paper titled “THEORETICAL AND CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK: MANDATORY INGREDIENTS OF A QUALITY RESEARCH”) you are to specify your exact research questions.Theory: Identifying one or two theories enables the researcher to address the research questions. In addition, a theory can help to recognize which constructs in the conceptual framework are relevant to the target problem.Conceptual Framework: When formulating research questions, it is helpful to graph the main issues identified in the problem. A visual representation of these issues will enhance our understanding of how these issues are related to each other. For the purpose of this assignment, please consider the following:Formulate one or two research questions in such a way that:The answers they produce will be the new solutions to the problem stated in the project. As Latham (2014) suggested, the purpose of the study will be fulfilled once the problem is resolved. They relate to the conceptual framework,They are linked directly to the theories discussed in the literature review section of your project.Select a theory that you believe is well suited for the targeted problem. Describe the theory and explain the extent to which its assumptions are similar to those in the research problem in your doctoral project.Create a visual representation or conceptual framework of the issues identified in your doctoral project. The Influence of Rewards on Workers Performance in An Organization
BACKGROUND??? Project Description
Recent data suggests that the main cause of workplace productivity is a reward system.
As such, it becomes essential to understand how rewards affect workers and their performance in
an organization. Consequently, this blog post will explore what this means and how better
management practices can be put into effect. The project investigates why a reward system is so
important to an organization’s success, outlines the importance of employee engagement levels to
productivity, and suggests some methods for improving them. In addition, it will conclude by
examining what organizations can do when faced with poor performance by employees as well
as suggesting some solutions for improving performance rates within an organization when faced
with low engagement among employees. As organizations are becoming increasingly reliant on
globalization, it is essential that management create an environment in which staff members can
work effectively without the threat of losing jobs or being paid less.

The Significance of The Problem
The purpose of this project is to identify appropriate means and approaches to determine
whether a simple yet startlingly effective reward system can increase employee satisfaction and
improve employee motivation. The motivating factor of this study is not just the award amount
or type, but the impact it has on employees’ motivation because employees being stakeholders in
the organization are rewarded based on qualifications and merits. The place and role of the

management is to develop strategic measures to enhance and improve productivity in the
organization. It is through the managements efforts that the organization can attain maximum
productivity to meet its long-term and short-term goals and objectives. As a result, the project
provides an insight to employers to develop a necessary measure to mitigate incidences in the
organization leading to poor performance due to employees attitude to focus on delegated roles
and responsibilities.
Purpose
Understanding reward systems can help organizations make sound decisions about how
they will allocate resources as well as give insights into how to engage happier and more
productive team members. Its important that any changes made can be supported by evidence of
outcomes that will benefit both the organization and individual employees.
For the organization, management will understand various measures to improve
employee performance as well as mechanisms for rewarding employees for their efforts. The
motivation of the rewards and the quality of the results achieved by rewards differ from each
other. Rewards can motivate a significant number of actions, but most are not beneficial to an
organization and can even have a negative impact on employees performance. Rewards that are
ineffective or have a negative influence on productivity need not be offered at all. In this project
design, the goal is to develop strategic measures to know the influence of rewards on worker
performance in an organization. The study will conduct cross-sectional research? and collect data
using open-source software such as Microsoft Excel to analyze the relationship between reward
and performance.
