The Reports and Stats section of OC Transpo reports a number of statistics regarding various aspects of its local transit services. Under “On-Time Performance”, the January – June 2016 report provides a table with all routes. For Route 96, a note explains: ”Peak direction excluded due to high frequency service”. Presumably, this means that the following information taken from the table only refers to off-peak hours:
Route
Over 2 mins
Early Up to 2 mins
Early On Time
Late

b) You take this bus once each week during the term to get to class. What is the probability of this bus being on time all thirteen weeks of the semester? (2Pts)
c) What is the probability that this bus will be on time more than 4 times during the semester (3PTs)(what model should be used?)
d) Considering the entire semester, what is the expected value for busses arriving ‘on time’ ?(1Pt)
The standard deviation (2pts)? The coefficient of variation (1Pt)?
