Restlessness
(+) Productive cough
Diagnosis
Impaired gas exchange RT collection of mucus in airways
Outcomes
After 8 hours of nurse-patient interventions the patient will be able to:
1. maintain optimal gas exchange as evidenced by usual mental status, unlabored respirations, normal oximetry results.
2. demonstrate techniques to improve gas exchange.
