My role is to ensure smooth functioning of day to day operation, team motivation, managing shifts of staff, recruitment of staff as and when required, building relationships with customers, responsible for profit and loss of organization, updation of good or bad events to owner, coordination with suppliers and ensure inventory/raw material availability before time so that customers do not get disappointed in absence of liquor or food from Menu.Business drivers Every Business whether it’s small or big- has its own key business drivers. The widespread drivers for any bar and restaurant business are quality, cordiality, consistency, esteem and neatness (linkedin.com, 2017).The question is who brought all these qualities to bar and restaurant business? The answer is-Its suppliers and staff who makes difference in services. Problem IdentificationDuring the first fortnight of my joining I decided to focus on problems and process GAPs. I saw that there was a GAP with our supply chain management/suppliers. Company is owning Bar and Restaurant business and suppliers play pivot role in success of our business. The weekly turnover of the company is $85,000 at present. There is a 15% dip in company’s turnover in past 6 month. Weekly sale used to be $100000. There are around 100+ brands alcoholic/nonalcoholic liquors are being served in bar and 350+ raw material required for restaurant. There are total 8 suppliers who servers both bar and restaurant.  The liquor order to suppliers are through mail (Via Bar Manager) and restaurant raw material order is over phone (Via Chef), because of this suppliers many times miss the orders as either mail not received or something missed out during order over phone. This in turn results in customer dissatisfaction as sometimes order placed by them does not get fulfilled. This was portraying bad image of organization among customers and resulting in revenue dip.Solution to the problemI took the help of Value Web model to solve this problem:An organization’s value chain is connected to the value chains of its providers, merchants, and clients. All things considered, the execution of generally firms depends not just on what goes on inside a firm yet additionally on how well the firm arranges with immediate and roundabout providers, suppliers (raw material suppliers), and, obviously, clients (Laudon & Laudon 2016, p 137).Information systems can be utilized to accomplish key favorable position at the business level. I decided to propose mobile app for inventory procurement against my CIO. The inventory order will be done through this mobile app and both staff and suppliers will use this app for error free and timely procurement of inventory, which will result in customer satisfaction which in turn will result in revenue increment.Mobile App flow/Order WorkflowA blueprint of mobile app has been prepared via using “Justinmind”wire framing tool (Justinmind.com, 2018). How screens of mobile app will look like will be in following order:Screen 1: First screen is log in screen to avoid unauthorized access to the application. Login to this app will be password protected.
