The need for direction in big data research is an exigency that becomes more complex as time moves forward. The granular information in big data research requires an interdisciplinary approach for the social and computer scientist as both must familiarize themselves with courses of study not provided in many curriculums. Any researcher engaging with human subjects has an ethical responsibility to minimize potential harm while pursuing scientific goals. Read Ten Simple Rules for Big Data Research – Zook et al – 10 simple rules for responsible big data research (2017) and write a 2-3 page paper that reflects the following questions: ?
