Introduction

You may have begun your studies at Tiffin with a firm idea about what type of career you wanted to pursue, or you may have just had a vague notion that it should be something in the criminal justice field. Now is a perfect time to review and examine careers in this field.

Activity Instructions

For this activity, complete the following:

· Skim Chapters 1-5 from the Harr and Hass textbook and complete the assessment on page 4. Then, look for an outside assessment that can either confirm or disprove the outcome from the assessment in the book.

· What three jobs within the criminal justice field interest you? Why?

· What jobs in the field do not appeal to you? Why?

· Finally, what do you want from a career, how have you prepared yourself for a career and what preparation is still needed?
