This presentation assignment is an analysis and application of a selected theory. Select a theory to focus on. The theory can be a nursing theory or a theory from another discipline.
For this first assignment, you will create a slide presentation using a design tool of your choice (PowerPoint, Prezi, Google Slides, Canva, etc.). The resource below demonstrates some best practices for creating presentation slides.
Requirements

Use a minimum of 8-9 slides which discuss and apply the selected theory
Slide 1: (title slide): Your name, the theorist’s name, and the name of the theory
Slides 2-3: Overview of the theory
Slide 4: Overall focus of the theory (type of practice, type of patient, or type of setting, etc.)
Slide 5: Example of knowledge the theory adds to nursing
Slide 6: Example of how the theory could be used to structure or support practice
Slide 7: Example of how the theory could be used to innovate nursing
Slide 8: Identify major strengths and major limitations of the theory
Slide 9: APA formatted references
