Question
Choose a company that has been affected by the Covid 19 economic crisis. Download the annual report and critically evaluate the following statements:

(a) “Annual reports are a visual medium through which corporations…. represent and…constitute themselves.” (Preston et al. 1996, p.115)
(no more than 500 words)

(b) The aura of objectivity in accounting is misleading. An accountant’s view is a subjective view; it is a story told from a particular standpoint, reflecting a choice – what to tell and what not to.
