The question of this paper should be one to which it is feasible to provide a coherent and at least moderately complete response in a ten-page paper. It should be a question that requires data and analysis to answer. And it should be a question that you find interesting, to which the answer is not immediately obvious. A clearly articulated question is the foundation of quality analytic work.
