LDRS 302: Assignment – Early Leadership Influencer Talk

Choose a leader from the Pre-Industrial Concepts of Leadership (Unit 2) and prepare a 5-minute talk outlining the leader’s

a. historical setting, and most importantly, and

b. what you think made them an influential leader in their time and why they are still relevant today.

Assignment Guidelines

• You will prepare a PowerPoint for this presentation (at least five slides).

• The allotted time is five minutes for this presentation.

• It will be timed. There will be an allowance of fifteen seconds for each presenter. One percent will be deducted for every two seconds over and under the time limit.

• You are expected to address the points outlined above.

· Your speaking notes must accompany the PowerPoint slides, but you are not to read off them.

· Reference page(s) must accompany your PowerPoint.

Due Date

• Please check your Course Syllabus for the due date.

• A copy of your PowerPoint and the video link must be uploaded in the Moodle Assignment Dropbox the evening before the presentation.
