This week, class will begin the research process.  The annotated bibliography, a thesis statement and an alphabetized list of sources in MLA style that includes a summary/evaluation paragraph(s), will be due 11/15.  Probing questions (all may not apply to your source) for the annotation paragraphs that can be used to help you formulate your thoughts are:
What is the article about? Summarize in your own words opening the paragraph with Author’s last name and name of the work.
What are the topics covered in the article/work?
What is the main goal of the article?
Was the article useful to your research?  Why?
Is the information accurate, reliable, or bias? Explain.
Was there an assessment tool used in the work?  If so what tool?
What is your opinion of the work?
