Structure
The report will be structured based on five sections:
Executive summary (Not included with the wordcount)
This section of the report will effectively summarize the key points of the report. It should restate the purpose of the report, highlight the major aspects of the report, and describe any results, conclusions, or recommendations from the report.
Introduction
This section will highlight the key reference points such as background, rationale and objective of this report. It will also highlight the major components of the report.
Legal considerations (300 words approx.)
This section will provide information about the legal framework within which the business will operate. The student will critically analyse two key pieces of legislation (e.g., law, by-law, statute, Act, regulation, ordinance) from each tier of government (local, state and federal) and highlight their impact on the proposed business.
Economic considerations (300 words approx.)
The student will critically analyse the economic indicators and frameworks for the business and will hiahliaht its impact on the business
establishment and its likely performance.
Ethical considerations (300 words approx.)
This section will highlight the ethical framework for business development and its operationalisation. It will also discuss how the business contributes to the common good.
Conclusion and Recommendation (300 words approx.)
The conclusion section will summarize the key findings. The recommendation section should outline at least two recommendations and relate the proposed recommendations to the findings. The conclusion also should be aligned directly to the aims of the business environment analysis, as stated in the Introduction.

Before you start writing the report, please revise the lectures and workshop materials, and explore the websites mentioned in the resources section to gain broader knowledge about ethical, legal and economic aspects.
First, you analyze some major ethical considerations that the business may face while operating in Australia. You may apply your knowledge of the Australian Consumer Law in this regard.
You then narrow down the scope of the legislation for the selected business and the relevant industry and highlight the impact of legal factors in establishing and operating the proposed business. Make sure you identify and critically analyse two key pieces of legislation (e.g. law, by-law, statute, Act, regulation, ordinance) from each tier of the government (local, state and federal) and highlight their impact on the proposed business in Australia.
You then analyze the key economic indicators relevant to the industry for understanding the economic trends that may impact the business. Additionally, you need to apply any the following economic frameworks to demonstrate how economic conditions are likely to impact this business.
