Over the years, Common Core has been source of controversy throughout the United States. Please articulate whether the state you reside in is using Common Core or State Standards.  Then prepare a paper in which you formulate a rationale to present to parents and teachers for implementing either the Common Core or State Standards.  The paper should be 3-5 pages (Not including the reference page) with scholarly and or references related to your research.
The state of Mississippi uses State Standards, so the paper should be written about Mississippi and State Standards.
