As you embark on the academic aspects of your career, identify your specific area(s) of expertise in healthcare related to your current professional position or to an area you have begun to research.
1.     Write a one-page summary of the area you would identify. Give your qualifications for choosing this topic and the reasons it is important to healthcare.
2.     As a faculty expert in the area you have identified, you have been asked by local media to speak for one minute about the importance of this area. Keep in mind that your audience is composed of ordinary individuals who may know little about your topic. Present your one-minute exposition via audio or video file.
