Assessment Information

This assignment is designed to assess learning outcomes:

1. Demonstrate an understanding of human behaviour in organisations and how management can influence behaviour.
2. Evaluate contemporary management concepts within the organisational context.
3. Critique, challenge and apply organisational concepts from an applied management perspective.

This assignment is an individual assignment. This assignment requires you to write an individual 2000 words report addressing the following requirements.

Choose a real private sector organisation which is currently trading, but has experienced challenges such as a decline in growth &/or profits. Consider how the internal environment, particularly the existing organisational behaviour, has contributed to the challenges experienced. Create a report and suggest a change plan for how the organisation might change to improve their performance, through engaging and motivating their staff. It is suggested that students should pick 3 or 4 aspects of organisational behaviour in relation to the topics covered in this module
