Question 1 Appraise and discuss the impact of the following authorities’ requirements on the design and construction cost for your client’s project and provide advice to him: (a) URA Landscaping for Urban Spaces and High-Rises (LUSH) Programme: LUSH 3.0

(b) BCA Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) particularly the adoption of Prefabricated Volumetric Construction (PPVC) and Prefabricated Bathroom Units (PBU).

Question 2 Demonstrate using the data given in Table Q2, to prepare and estimate the unit rate for reinforced concrete Grade 40 ($/m3).
