BBSHS/BSHA Discussion: Are ethical principles universal?
Your comments will be graded on how well they meet the Discussion Requirements posted under “Before You Begin.”
Some have argued that the four foundational ethical principles in health care, beneficence, justice, autonomy, and non-malfeasance, are Western concepts and do not necessarily apply to all cultures.
For your first post, discuss whether these concepts should be considered universal or not. Also address the importance of considering culture when dealing with ethical issues. Cite reliable sources in your discussion.
