Throughout this semester, we will be examining concepts of power, privilege, difference, and intersectionality. The Privilege Survey that you took in this module examines a variety of different privileges that exist in the United States today. For this discussion, select a newspaper article that has been printed in the past month that examines an issue of power, privilege, oppression, and/or opportunity. Put the topic and the article in the subject in your discussion. Do not select the same article that a classmate has selected! Identify the source of power and privilege and describe the issue using the terms and concepts in the readings. Is the newspaper correct in the details? Have you confirmed the information? If so, how and with what source did you base your confirmation?
