Discuss political economy differences and choose a sector to illustrate your answer
For the group essay, students will work in the same group of 4 and will submit a 3000 words essay (excluding references). A significant part of the analysis section should include observations/information obtained during fieldwork. I’m writing the introduction and the conclusion ( 200 for the introduction and 200 for the conclusion )
Group essay structure:
a. Introduction to the question, outline of argument and how it is going to be developed
b. Academic background/literature review – discussion of the political economy of Germany and the US. The group can use this section to compare this with other countries if applicable/helpful to the argument
c. Data necessary to make your argument. Secondary sources should be used here.
d. Material from observations and talks in Berlin
e. Discussion
f. Conclusion
g. List of references
