Hello Classmates,

As a educator, I make the conference a welcoming environment were the parent and the student feel comfortable. For the student I would have activities where he could stay busy in something educational. As the grandfather is explaining to me about the student behavior, I would talk about how we can work together to help the student to have a beer behavior. I would explain how I can bring ne strategizes in the classroom to keep the student busy and decrease his behavior. I can assign him activities and classroom job so he can participate more. I could also give the grandfather some activities to work at home. Regularly the understudies are booked to talk with the advisor to perceive what is making the understudy carry on. Most occasions the understudies are having inconvenience at home or carrying on to get a handle on the consideration of a grown-up for help. Accordingly, contingent upon the reasons of this conduct the understudy might be set with a social laborer from life help to talk with every day. I would tell them that I would permit the understudy to make up the tasks if the understudy will finish them. I would get some information about the understudy like his advantage, on the grounds that most occasions understudies will work on their conduct to get something that they like as a prize. I could also talk to the counselor and explain what’s going with the student so she can give me information of programs that our school offers that can help the student or even the grandfather to work with the child. Ineffective communication can change the whole outcome by not caring about the child’s behavior or education or simply speaking to the guardian in a negative tone. By the time goes, I would give the guardian phone calls, email him or schedule meetings to discuss about the student’s process. Effective communication obstacles that I have identified will be great listening skills.

1. Integrating effective communication techniques, how would you handle the situation?

The grandfather did the correct thing by reaching out to the school. With the help from teachers maybe he can find a solution to his problem. He should have conference with his teachers to get a background of how his behavior and academically is with his teacher toward his school work. If the teachers has the same problem as the guardian them they should come up with a behavior intervention plan. If the student has a BIP in place then it will be up to the behavior specialize, parent and teacher and also principal on the next by giving the student a Behavioral Center program. One of an effective step would be to remove the device from the student so he can listen and understand what is ask of him and so he can realize his own problem and his mistakes.

2. How could ineffective communication change the outcome?

Ineffective communication changes the outcome by the guardian could have let his lost win. By that means, he would have never seek for more help for his child.
