Four page position essay on “The Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka.

With what character are you supposed to sympathize and/or identify most? How and why does the text manipulate your response to this character?

– Four pages and a works cited page with at least two sources OTHER than the story itself. Sources must come from an academic source such as a library database. 
– No summary of the story within the text. Assume the reader already knows what you’re talking about. 
– Minimal to no use of first person. 
– Reference the text at least 4-5 times throughout the writing.
