As for your assignment, please find a news article or an  account of a sexual assault.  After reading the article please write a 1-2 page paper describing the incident through the lens of what is discussed in the lecture.  For example, what type of rape is being reported? What percentage of rape cases account for that type of rape? What issues might the victim have in proving her case? What defenses might the defendant use? If the victim is black, what are the 2 reasons given that black women are less likely to report a rape.  As always,  Times New Roman , double spaced, 12 pt font,  and please include the link to your article in the paper.  I also discuss this assignment at the end of the lecture.
