ESSAY 2 – Informative A Person You Love

For this assignment, you will be writing a 500 word essay about someone you love. Describe the

person so that we feel like we know him or her! Since this is a process-based writing activity,

create your cluster first, then the outline, and finally a revised essay.

Your assignment will be graded according to the following grading rubric.

Submit a well organized essay that includes an Introduction that begins with a hook and

ends with a thesis, 3 Body paragraphs, and a Concluding paragraph. Each Body paragraph

must begin with a topic sentence. Details and examples must support each topic sentence.

The Conclusion must summarize the points made and restate the thesis using different

words. Use transitions in your Body paragraphs.
