Section III of the 2015  Cooperative Strategy for 21st Century  Seapower  (CS-21) details  five functions  essential to support our National Security (all domain access, deterrence, sea control, power projection, and maritime security). Select a major region  (e.g., CENTCOM )  but NOT the one you are currently in,  and explain in detail which  essential function  is the most important for the near term (i.e., 2 to 3 years) regarding our National Security.
