Opening Scene
Assignment Instructions

This one should be fairly obvious. Write the first full scene of your short script. (Keep in mind that it’s OK if in later drafts it ends up not being the first scene).

This must be written in screenplay format. It must be at least one page long and should do all the things than an opening scene should do: set up the world, introduce the characters, engage the audience, and begin the conflict.
