Select an issue that’s important in America today, and choose a recognized and nationally organized interest group that has taken on that issue. This does not include people just complaining that they want something. Think in terms of national, registered lobbying groups.
What tactics and methods do they use to influence the Congress and the president? In order to ensure a more diverse forum and increase learning, I may send out a message if I see too many people using the same interest group asking everyone who hasn’t yet posted to select a different group. If I do this, please select another group in order to earn full points.

Make sure to include a news article from the last eight weeks of this group in action. Do not get sidetracked in discussions about the issue they support. Stay focused on their tactics and methods.
