This week, you will research relevant literature for the Module Assignment. Your task will be to review research from a wide range of scholarly articles that relate to leadership and change management. The Royal Literary Fund (2017) set out some key qualities of a good literature review and can be found at https://www.rlf.org.uk/resources/what-is-a-literature-review/ Your literature review should demonstrate that you have a good understanding of state of knowledge relevant to your subject from the literature you found. If there are differing points of view about a matter, each of those should be addressed in your literature to provide a full perspective of the issue.
You should submit an approximately 1000-word critical literature review on leading change in which you demonstrate an understanding of key concepts and synthesise, compare and contrast key ideas from the literature.
Week 14 Module Assignment: Analysis of organisational change.
This week, you will complete your Module Assignment, an analysis of leadership challenges arising from an organisational change and recommendations for leading and managing the change process.
To prepare for this Assignment:
Reflect on the feedback you received previously in Weeks 5, 7 and 9, updating your submissions as appropriate based on that feedback.
Apply appropriate theories of organisational leadership and organisational change relevant to understanding and analysing the change problem.
Via the VLE submission link submit an approximately 3,000-word proposal providing an analysis of leadership challenges arising from an organisational change and recommendations for leading/ managing the change process. Use the feedback you received in earlier weeks and incorporate this to complete your Module Assignment.
