Detailed Explanation In the preparation of the final report for this semester, you choose one of two options. You may describe the role of the media as a short story (see 503 Media and Change in Society as Short Story). You may describe the role of the media using Third Variable Theory (see 505 Media and Change in Society with Th Var Th). The assignment is for you and the other students in your group to submit a report on the mass media and change in your country over the last no more than 75 years. Your report should be double-spaced, should use 12-point Times (or New Times Roman) type, and should be up to three (3) pages — that include the list of sources. It is very important that you choose one way of writing the last part of the report: (a) as a short story; OR (b) using Third Variable Theory Once again, it is important to bear in mind that you focus on change that has taken place in the last 75 years in the country on which your group has been focusing. Please note the sections of the report: the introduction; the description of the earlier attribute, with supportive ‘pieces of evidence;” the description of the later attribute, with supportive ‘pieces of evidence;” the paragraph that restates there was change; and the description/explanation of the role of mass media messages in the change. In the past, you worked in groups on your countries. You must continue to do so. This means that for each group, there will be one common report to the instructor.
