Wk 4 – 12-Step Meeting Reaction Paper
Attend an open 12-step meeting, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, etc.
Write a 700- to 1,050-word reaction paper in which you describe your reaction to attending the meeting. Include the following:
· Identify the type of meeting you attended.
· Describe the group members’ demographics.
· Describe your reaction to the welcome, introductions, and content of the meeting.
· Describe the thoughts and feelings you had while attending the meeting.
· Describe the role of this type of meeting in the treatment of a substance-related or addictive disorder.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
