Group Presentation
Group Assignment: In groups of 3, 4 or 5 students prepare a 20 min presentation followed by 10 min Q/A
Discussion (25 mins total for each group).
You are a team of risk management consultants hired by a company that is going through a significant
transformation of their supply chain to improve their risk management strategy. You are asked by the
company’s Board of Directors to provide them with a short presentation highlighting the:
1. a) top 10 supply chain risks that exist today
2. b) top 5 risks relevant to the planned transformation strategy they are about to approve
Working in your group, use the learning outcomes from your lectures and group exercises to prepare the
presentation.
Submission and Presentation
On the day of the presentation, the group will present their risk assessment for 20 minutes, ensuring that all
members of the group are involved in the presentation. The presentation will be followed by 10 minutes of
questions and answers based on the presented material.

• Be proactive in achieving this challenge i.e. research from Wikipedia or the company’s website is not
sufficient!
• Your analysis should be thought provoking, visionary
• Plan how to deliver a successful presentation – make it memorable, exciting, thoughtful.
• Be creative – your presentation could be delivered in a variety of methods. i.e. role play or news anchor,
poster etc… you may also use presentation software tools such as Prezzi etc
• Each member of the group must contribute to the presentation preparation
• Presentation must be 20 minutes at the most, with 10 minutes for questions. Total time 30 mins.
