Although ultrasound is rapidly becoming the modality of choice for the urinary system, there
are a few ways to visualize this system. For this assignment, you will research three urinary
disorders.
Using the textbook and other reliable internet sources
select two disorders that can be seen with an IVU, and
a third disorder that can be seen with a CT scan.
For each disorder, write three descriptive paragraphs using complete sentences. Include the
following information:
1. Name the disorder.
2. Describe its usual location.
3. Identify the population most affected.
4. Identify the procedure used.
5. Describe the radiographic appearance of this disorder with this procedure.
6. Describe the treatment.
Cite your references on a separate page in APA format.

Use a 12-point font.
Follow APA writing guidelines.
Proofread and correct all errors in capitalization, punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
