Proposal
Compose a 3 – 4page proposal memo to your manager or boss. In it,
apprise your (real or hypothetical) boss of important research, trends,
and/or ideas. If one of your sources does not directly relate to your field,
clarity how it could positively impact your workplace.
In your proposal:
Synthesize ideas from the research sources contained in your
annotated bibliography.
Clarify your belief that your workplace would benefit from
consideration or implementation of the ideas mentioned in the
annotated bibliography.
State your hope that the ideas you present will promote positive
interpersonal, intercultural, organizational, or even international
relations within your workplace.
Refer to the research your information is based on.
Your report will:
Include a standard memo heading and be in single spaced memo
formatting
Explain why youre writing and what you want your boss to do
with information you provide.
Use a professional, respectful, upbeat tone.
Conclude with a reminder of why you wrote. Ex: hope that your
boss, and workplace overall, will benefit from the information you
provide.
