2.1 Assessment Questions
Your organisation is looking to upgrade its IT infrastructure and is considering a range of Knowledge
Management Information Systems (KMIS) to be integrated with any other appropriate system.
1. Select an organisation of your choice. For this organisation, define:

Corporate Structure
Outline the business model of the organisation

2. Critically evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of your chosen
organisation (using about 3 models) taking into consideration all environmental factors
including competitors

3. Recommend the most appropriate knowledge management information system(s) for your
chosen organisation. Justify your recommendations specifically how it would improve the
performance of the business both currently and potentially in the future; and how it would
help the business achieve its corporate objectives.

4. Critically assess three key management implementation challenges the organisation may face
while implementing your recommendations
(15 Marks)
5. You should include a short introduction, which gives a general overview and organisation of
the report
(5 Marks)
6. Structure, referencing, use of language including use of Harvard Referencing System
(5 Marks)

2.2 Submission Structure
Your report should be structured according to the followings:

You need to create relevant headings. Don’t copy and paste the questions as headings.
All the sections except references must be numbered. All the figures/tables used in
the report must have captions (e.g. Figure 1, Table 1), properly referenced and
explained in the report otherwise they will not be marked.
