RULES:
1 Read or study the communication very carefully.
2. Make sure that you comprehend the communication by
a. looking up the unfamiliar words.
b. Writing down the main ideas of the communication.
2. Determine the authors purpose or objective in creating the communication.
3. Classify the communication according to its genre (type) it belongs to poem, prose, etc.
4. Look at the (identify) established criteria set for that particular kind of communication.
5. Does the communication comply with the standards, rules, techniques, inherent in that particular kind of communication?
6. If possible compare it with other works of the same kind.
7. Determine how well the communication met the objectives set for that particular type of communication.
8. Wrile down your judgment (opinion) in terms of external criteria in a paragraph. Substantiate your statements.
9. Proofread your work.
