HSY311: A History of Crime and Punishment
As noted on the Essay 2 Task Sheet, the task required only one of the questions to be addressed. Your essay, however, answered all the questions. Accordingly, your essay does not satisfy the task requirements and has been awarded a mark of zero.
Although resubmission is not offered in HSY311,1 am writing to provide you with the opportunity to resubmit Essay 2. This is an ex gratia offer for the purpose of academic recovery in the course.
Please note the following conditions of this offer:
1. If you wish to accept this offer and re-submit, you must email me (m.davis@qriffith.edu.au) no later than Monday 23 November to advise of your acceptance.
2. Upon acceptance, you will be given 5 working days to resubmit Essay 2 in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 of the Assessment Policy.
3. The resubmitted essay will be eligible to achieve a mark no greater than 50%.
NOTE: If no response to this message is received by Monday 23 November, the mark of zero for Essay 2 will stand.
