ORAL POWERPOINT PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
Each student is required to make an oral PowerPoint presentation about one of the topics below.
Topic List:
1 ) Volcanoes. Describe the process and products, and give examples of some more recent eruptions and their consequences.
2. Earthquakes. Describe the process and give examples of some more recent earthquakes and their consequences.
3. Climate Change and Global Warming. What is it and give the pros(for) and cons (against) of anthropogenic carbon dioxide as the cause of global warming.
4. Geology of the ocean basins: You may approach this topic in a number of ways including, plate tectonics, mining, oil and gas exploration, etc.
The presentation should be no longer than 5 minutes, and should include at least one slide that is of a quantitative nature (graphs, charts, etc).
