This week for our current event, were going to take a look at a Texas state law thats been getting a lot of attention lately because of a girl at a Fort Worth Hospital. We are one of a few states with a law thats known as the 10-day rule, where families are given 10 days to find a new hospital if they disagree with doctors who decide to take a patient off life support. Some feel its a merciful rule that allows nature to take its course. Others feel its too harsh and doesnt provide families with enough time or options. Read over this article to learn more:
