Presentation Task brief
Description:
· This is an individual task.
· Weight: This task is worth 15% of your overall grade for this subject.
Submission: Via Moodle (Turnitin). Submissions will be accepted until Sunday 21st March 2021 at 23:59 CEST. Presentations in class (face-to face) during week 9 (22nd to 26lh of March).
Formalities:
· Submit your presentation in pdf or power point.
· You may want to include images/graphics etc. (for example from their website) to make your reasoning and argumentation more visual and explicative
· Length: 10 to 15 slides (10 minutes presentation approx)
Questions:
EU Business School will celebrate Women in Business during the entire month of March. This celebration will take place across all campuses. In your Macroeconomic courses, you have studied unemployment, labour force participation and differences in unemployment and participation rates across demographic groups. In this context, choose a country that you know well and prepare a presentation that:
1. Describes the trends in unemployment rate of men and women (separately) during the last decades. You must show graphs and explain these graphs. You can use data available from the OECD or the World Bank.
2. Describes the trends in labour force participation rate of man and women (separately) during the last decades. You must show graphs and explain these graphs. You can use data available from the OECD or World Bank
3. Present hypothesis that explain the observed trends.
