You can use the three different geographic scales or focus on one. (5 pts)
C. Now, pretend you are a neoclassical (free-market or environmental economist), new institutional (transaction cost or ecological), and institutional economisteach in turn. Being that economist, write up some of the solutions each school of economic theory might develop (~1.5 pages). If your topic is water pollution, a neoclassical economist might say put a tax on pollution, a new institutionalist might say define whos responsible for cleaning up the pollution, and an institutionalist might say, we need to focus on changing consumer behavior to reduce demand for pollution-causing products. It may be that each school of thought may select the same solution, but for different reasons. (5 pts)
