Please answer these two questions based on the readings-
1) Describe a formative literacy assessment your practicum teacher uses and explain how that assessment informs his or her instruction.
2) One of the purposes for progress monitoring is to be responsive to the students needs and adjust instructional practices as needed. A teachers ability to respond to a childs needs is only as good as the data they have collected. What elements of progress monitoring do you think are most important to making good educational decisions and why?
