Conduct Observations of an Achievement Test
Instructions
For this assignment, select a school and make preparations to observe the administration of an achievement test or other formal test by a special educator. If this is not possible for you to accomplish, you may conduct an analysis of a standardized test. Sample testing materials are available through libraries or on-line. In your test analysis, address components A, B, C, H, I, and J below. Be sure to plan the observation and prepare for an informal discussion with the special educator after the administration is complete. After the assessment observation, write a short report on the experience. Include the following in your report:

D. Service delivery model
E. Evaluation of location
F. Teacher reactions
G. Student reactions
H. Data collection procedures
I. Any adaptations or changes that were made or would need to be made to the commercial test or its suggested methods of administration for it to be used with students who have special needs?
