The second task relates to our in-class exercise on Friday: There has been much criticism regarding the 2020 World Cup in Qatar. The organisers were accused of violating human rights because migrants would be exploited and treated like slaves (please see slides). The big question is, however, does the audience/ do football fans care?

As a training for your policy paper, what kind of evidence do you find that something has changed (if at all), after investigative reports? Please present and briefly discuss the results of three different sources, i.e. summarize what the sources state, interpret them and add a couple of sentences regarding whether there has been a possible impact by Investigative Journalism or not. The sources can be opinion polls, statements by governments, sponsors, the FIFA etc.
